Develop a new Brand Identity for a Philadelphia based home care company.
Holland Homecare (HHC), a prominent provider of in-home care and support services for seniors and individuals with disabilities, sought to revitalize its brand identity to better resonate with its client base, particularly the elderly. Collaborating closely with the HHC team, I spearheaded a comprehensive rebranding effort, crafting a new logo, color palette, typography, and brand system tailored to evoke trust and comfort.
In addition to the visual elements, I orchestrated a multifaceted approach to brand communication, encompassing a social media campaign, brochures, website development, merchandising strategies, and out-of-home (OOH) advertisements. This holistic strategy aimed not only to enhance HHC’s aesthetic appeal but also to strengthen its presence and accessibility across various touchpoints, fostering deeper connections with clients and stakeholders.

An Identity that helps put a face on an important internal organization
Throughout the iterative design process, I explored four rounds of conceptualization, each delving into vibrant typography, geometric forms, and subtle nods to the iconic Netflix logo bump. Serendipity played a significant role in the final design decision, as the incorporation of colored bands into the logo emerged from an unexpected twist. While experimenting with horizontal bars in one of the concepts, a fortuitous accident occurred when I inadvertently shifted the bars 90 degrees, resulting in a striking resemblance to the colored bars seen in the logo animation.
